Regional Health Equity Council (RHEC) Annual Meeting for Region VIII, Denver, CO, October 9-10

The RHECs are a vital component of the National Partnership for Action to End Health Disparities (NPA). The NPA was established to mobilize a nationwide, comprehensive, community-driven, and sustained approach to combating health disparities and to move the nation toward achieving health equity. RHEC members represent communities impacted by health disparities, state and local government agencies, tribes, healthcare providers and systems, health plans, businesses, academic and research institutions, foundations, and other organizations. They play a critical role in implementing the NPA and represent a nationwide commitment for addressing health equity and closing the health gap for racial, ethnic, and underserved communities.
